Time to Shine!

Took a group of amazing talent out to the beach the weekend after 4th of July when it was record heat and hard to sit still. The Oregon Coast is a perfect mini getaway to cool down and enjoy some beautiful sites. This all started when I was browsing through reels 3 months ago and came across a couple that caught my attention based around a photographer who took a group of girls to the beach to try and capture some "beach goddess" images. This is EXACTLY what I love about taking photos. Bringing together the combination of a beautiful view, refreshing waves, and a few of my favorite models & friends who work out in Portland. Going to the coast is also one of my favorite places to be in the PNW. Everything in me was thinking YES, It was time to SHINE! I have never held any type of photography event before so what better than to start off our summer heat wave with a real wave of talent and capture some great portraits to help promote these men & women as well as generate content for myself and local photographers who didn't want to miss out on a great excuse to escape the hot city for an afternoon on a Saturday.

We had roughly 5-6 photographers and 8 models who participated. It became SUCH a huge success. Everyone felt so welcomed and the energy my photographer partner and I (Jordan Moon @uniquityfoto) brought to this event was top tier. We had our cameras in hand from 4pm until 9pm when the sun set. As overwhelmed as I felt, I left that day feeling so fulfilled and thankful for everyone who helped make that day as incredible as it was. This is only the beginning of our events to be thrown!
